Orkestra Obsolete – Blue Monday

New Order’s classic 12″ single “Blue Monday” (FAC 73) was released 34 years ago, on 07 March 1983 (which was, in fact, a Monday).

Last year, the mysterious musician collective Orkestra Obsolete reimagined “Blue Monday” using archaic instruments from the 1930s, including: theremin, musical saw, harmonium, and prepared piano. It is amazing.
