INFO > “Certain Things Are Likely” is the second single and title track from Kissing The Pink’s third album. Produced by the band, Peter Walsh, and Phil Harding, the album marked a shift toward a more commercial sound; this move came at the behest of KTP’s label, Magnet, which sought greater success from the group. Remixed by Harding, “Certain Things Are Likely” became a dance hit in several countries between 1986 and 1987. As there was no CD release, multiple sources were used to create this unofficial digital single.

NOTE > Special thanks to RA Feutz for the cover scan :-)

  1. Thanks Shelf! I have the US 12 inch, but have been lame about recording it. I finished all the artwork for it too. There is an instrumental mix on the 12’er that runs 4:06. I just need to record that one.

  2. I just sent you the art. Check your email.

  3. You are the man, RA! Thank you for the excellent scans – I will update the post accordingly. My DJ buddy also had the US 12″ upon its release – really liked this single back in the day but then sorta forgot about it. Recently heard the tune playing during a scene in 80’s flick “Can’t Buy Me Love” and it jogged my memory.

If you are ripping the vinyl, I believe the Garage Mix is longer than what I’ve posted here. Thanks again!
