INFO > Nigel Champion and Mark Franklin formed techno-house team N-Joi in 1989; the duo was later joined by vocalist Samantha ‘Saffron’ Sprackling. The aptly named “Anthem” first appeared on N-Joi’s white label debut EP, and then featured on the act’s first release for Deconstruction, “Music From A State Of Mind.” A proper single issue followed, and “Anthem” broke into the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart in 1991. This 1995 US reissue includes new remixes by Darrin Friedman and Richard Vission & Pete Lorimer, along with the original mixes.

      • Nedzad – The link works now. An hour ago, this was not public … do not know why. Thank you for N-Joi’s “The New Anthem”. Love this Song. Best regards :)

  3. It’ll be nice to get this one back…thank you, Shelf! Of course, my favorite mix is the Vission Lorimer Love Acid!, which made my V/L Remixes Compilation, and is my favorite mix of theirs. I honestly can’t remember the other mixes (apart from the Original), as I only ever played the one mix. Haha!

Side note: If you ever listen to only one other V/L mix, definitely check out “Jump On It (Vission & Lorimer Hard Mix)” by Sir Mix-A-Lot.

Nothing beats the Original Mix of this tune. One of my favorite club tunes. Thanks for the post Shelf ! :)
