INFO > Formed in 1979, The Melody Makers comprised four of reggae legend Bob Marley’s children: Ziggy, Sharon, Cedella, and Stephen. Eldest son Ziggy ultimately became the focus of the group, which grew in popularity throughout the 1980s. Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth produced the act’s most commercially successful single, 1988’s “Tomorrow People”, which was remixed by Justin Strauss and studio partner Murray Elias for Popstand Productions.

  2. I could not believe my eyes when I saw this post…. DJ Shelf….You are simply the best
I honour you…….. Keep on throwing the beats our way…

  3. I imagine that the bulk of Marley’s listeners are neither big remix fans nor the type of deep library collectors who engage in file sharing 20+ year old files. As a result, it’s very hard to find any of Marley’s early cd-singles online. Thanks for posting this.

  4. This brings back memories…saw them play Red Rocks during the solar eclipse. Thank you!

    • Yes, the links do not function. All the files have been deleted and will not be re-uploaded. The blog is no longer maintained with any regularity.
