Chris Cuevas – Hip Hop (US Promo)

01 Hip Hop (7″ House Version)
02 Hip Hop (12″ House Version)
03 Hip Hop (Masters At Work Dub)
04 Hip Hop (Got-A-Groove Beats)

INFO > Fresh-faced Chris Cuevas was managed by Diane Gibson, the mother (and manager) of precocious pop star Debbie Gibson, who co-wrote “Hip Hop.” The track was produced by John ‘Jellybean’ Benitez and remixed by the Masters At Work team of Kenny ‘Dope’ Gonzales and ‘Little’ Louie Vega. In the States, Cuevas is little more than a footnote in Debbie Gibson’s career story; however, “Hip Hop” found its way across the pond and into Sasha’s record box during his DJ residency at Shelley’s Laserdome.
