INFO > Started in 1983, the Creation label is best known for launching the careers of The Jesus and Mary Chain, The House Of Love, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, Oasis, and many other indie greats. But founder Alan McGee had an ear for solid dance grooves, too, as this exceptional compilation will attest. Highlights include Danny Rampling’s hypnotic take on Love Corporation’s “Palatial,” and Weatherall’s classic remix of MBV’s “Soon.” However, there’s nothing less than very good on this collection of Balearic beats.
