The 100 Greatest Dance Singles Of All Time
On the occasion of my 100th post, here’s something fun, nostalgic, and appropriate. Upon publication in 1996, this supplement to the April issue of Mixmag wasn’t only essential reading, it was a shopping list. Even fifteen years later, these choices continue to be enduring classics, with nary a duff tune among the lot.

thank you for this great blog
You know Ric, I totally forgot about Junior’s mix of “Your Loving Arms” – probably his best remix of all time and such a HUGE anthem in 1995. And sadly, I don’t have it!
I have a feeling you won’t be sad for long
I’d say I agree with about 60% of the list.
But that’s one mix I’d like to hear, the BPM’s are all over the place. If it was pulled off right it’d sound fuckin’ wicked.
That would be one crazy-ass mix. There’s a challenge for an ambitious DJ…
Quot homines, tot sententiae…but a nice list :).
Here is my Top 10
1. The Orb – A huge ever growing…(U know…That Thing with the very long Title)
2. The Future Sound of London – Cascade
